The Central Hub

Experience all of Hopscotch for FREE at the Central Hub!

The 24 live chapters of Hopscotch converge at the Central Hub, the focal point of the entire production. The intimate performance inside the car streams live to the Hub, where 24 screens will give audiences a dazzling panorama of simultaneous life in Los Angeles. The Central Hub is also the site of the spectacular Finale, occurring at the end of each performance day at approximately 4:30pm.

The Central Hub is a temporary structure designed by SCI-Arc faculty members Constance Vale and Emmett Zeifman, located in  SCI-Arc’s parking lot in the Art’s District. Sennheiser’s superb Momentum headphones and innovative Guideport technology allow each audience member to focus on any of the 24 live streams.

Best of all: the Central Hub is FREE! Drop in for five minutes or stay for the afternoon to watch each of the 24 chapters. Headphones are distributed at 12:30pm on performance dates, first-come, first-served with limited capacity — please plan accordingly.

The line closes at 3:45pm /  Finale starts at 4:30 To experience the Finale performance you must already be in the Hub by 4pm. We will admit as many people in line as our capacity can accommodate.
