JULIA AKS, mezzo-soprano, is quickly becoming known as one of the Los Angeles' most versatile singer/actresses, with work spanning Shakespeare, opera, musical theater, plays, and film. She is a member of the Independent Shakespeare Company, the Ovation Award-winning Fugitive Kind Theater Company, the LA Opera Chorus, and the LA Opera Community Outreach Program. You can see Julia on the big screen (in three cities) this fall in the horror rom-com feature film CLINGER (Official Selection: SlamDance Film Festival 2015). She is dedicated to new works, new interpretations, and multi-disciplinary art.
