Quayla grew up in New York City, and at the age of 12, her love for different cultures and sponsorship by D & P LLC Worldwide took her breathtaking coloratura range on tours through Japan in 2008 and 2012, the Grand Bahamas in 2009, and France and Germany in 2008, where she performed secular, classical and gospel music. Quayla has been heard at Carnegie Hall singing spirituals and classical repertoire, and has been featured in various contemporary works, including A More Convenient Season at REDCAT in Los Angeles, where she was the soprano soloist. In May 2015, Quayla received her Bachelor of Fine Arts in Vocal Performance at California Institute of the Arts.
