Sarah LaBrie has been awarded fellowships and residencies from Writers in the Schools, New York University, the Virginia Center for the Creative Arts, the Nebraska Art Farm and the Tin House Summer Writer's Workshop. She has taught creative writing and composition at USC, NYU and PS111 on New York's lower east side. She holds a degree in comparative literature and literary arts from Brown University and an MFA in fiction from NYU.
